I'm trying to come up with something to do in SF that I haven't don't before. Hard when I've probably spent a month there in the last few years. I'm only thinking outside stuff.:)

You could go down to the Woodlawn Cemetery in Colma and see Emperor Norton I's grave.

Had my first ever memorable experience in Dullas today. Visited the 6th Floor Museum at the former book depository. If anyone is in Dullas and has the time, I highly recommend it. The grassy knoll is just a short walk from there through the infernal heat.

Have you done the Scharffen Burger factory tour in Bezerkely? "Yum" is one word that comes to mind.

I think the bad thing about going to SF is that I consider a day trip to a nice beach on Maui. Me no like that cold water.:td:

Interesting tidbit of history — during my junior year of college I had a student assistant job in the Dean of Social Sciences office. His administrative assistant was a rather cranky older lady that chain smoked in front of the building half the day, and was known for being rather difficult to get along with. But, as the year went on, we started to get along fairly well. When she found out my January term class that year was studying the Kennedy assassination, she became my new best friend. Turns out in the early/mid-1960s she worked as a court reporter, and was selected to transcribe much of the Warren Commission hearings. She then turned up one day with a box of photos and old copies of her notes from the hearings. She also had lots of stories to tell about the investigation, being in downtown Dallas when the assassination occured, and the people she met during the Warren Commission hearings. |

The 6th Floor is a great exhibit. We visited for the first time a couple of years ago and both really enjoyed it.
