Anyone read Bud, Sweat and Tees? Just bought it today; so far the best golf book I've read, but not sure what that's saying ;)

They all include M/B-ups now that those are showing online. I cannot really separate them out, or even pull by status (though 2 days out are gold or higher). I'm still not convinced of the value of the data but I do think there's a chance some might find it useful.

Sigh, I'm not ready to start conference calls yet. :(

I think it may be useful to trend over time by flight, regardless of when (or how) the upgrade cleared. There are too many variables at play for any particular data set to be indicative of an upgrade with any amount of solid probability in a narrow window (three or seven days). But it could be used to show over a window of time (like 30, 60, and 90 days back) how upgrades performed as a percentage of available seats on the flight. If it's possible, it would be nice to monitor the Z inventory on the flights in question as well, but that may be more data than you want to mess with.
Monitoring Z inventory is a bit harder. The EUA sweeps arguably happen at 24-hour intervals so those numbers aren't as dynamic during each day. Z inventory would be and tracking that would be different queries against a different system but not likely to really reflect upgrades of any sort, at least not in a manner I think I can track reasonably. |
