I love the view of the TZ from the choo-choo. I'm trying to get a lot of walking in as somewhat of a primer for my trip
to Y:Dsemite in 3 weeks - though I know the walking isn't really a primer for altitude and elevation. So, I think I'll be playing hooky on Friday to try to squeeze a real hike in.^

Shiner Addendum: apparently said bartender I was talking to fields questions like "What is Shiner Bock?" from bar patrons who want to order the stuff that the sauce is on and have never heard the brand name before. I don't know who commits more of a FAIL: Shiner for not shipping to NJ, or Chili's for rolling out a product in places that the basis for said product INP.

Where's this misconception over in UA land that the letters UA will be replaceing the letters CO? We don't even include the letters CO now in reference to the Box.

Congrats.

I wandered over to UA land and was almost ready to blast a few people there. I am tired of reading how they hate the new livery and will miss the Tulip and yada yada boo hoo. Considering the name of UA is going to live on, for better or worse, I would think they could cut some slack for what CO is losing. As soon as this merger is complete everything forward will be thought of as UA regardless of Jeff and the corporate culture that will be taking over.

I would much rather the CO named remained instead of getting the livery. No one is ever really going to remember the paint job, just the name. :( I will retire as a UA employee, not a CO employee. :td:

There isn't such a misconception. But there is an annoying troll roaming about.

I think one of the FT awards should be a brick that has been gold leafed. They make great door stops. :D

Later Box.

Gotta get ready for another soccer game. Hopefully the team will win this one or atleast score a goal or two.

It's not that we're bad people. It's just that our mothers didn't hug us enough. And we weren't breastfed. And there may have been a time or two when she locked us up with the dogs over the weekend instead of paying for a baby-sitter. But other than that, we're just like you.

Just a few courageous explorers coming ashore to meet the natives. Of course, we bring with us pestilence and disease. So there's that

Oh, and good beautiful NoVA afternoon to you Box.

NYC view was excellent today too although the water was a rather gross brown color. I've done Y:Dsemite hikes many times. It's funny that it isn't the highest elevation I've done by a long shot but once I got awfully carsick on the winding roads going in (never happened to me before or after that). If you get a chance to go to any other places I love Sequoia and Kings Canyon.
