That's what I was thinking, but there were several stories floating around today saying that they've run into a few technical hurdles (in a new airplane? You don't say!) and that may impact their ability to get the FAA type certification. That may be a different issue than the manufacturing problems.
They did successfully complete the wing bed test this past weekend. It's always fun to see pictures of that test. Sadly, they didn't break the wing like they did with the 777. |

Panamanian officials report sightings of a rare Otter, over this past weekend
The Otter was spotted in the wild and is not a native to local waterways. Otters are noted for their consumption of local grain based products and steely ways.
