764 BF Service
Tried to do a search, but suddenly you can no longer do a search with words less than four characters (pretty asinine if a person wants to do searches based on aircraft types).
Anyways...seatguru seems to indicate that those seated in rows 6 and 7 in BF will get serviced by the galley directly behind those rows and would get more "personalized" service.
Is this true? I would think that the further back you sit the less likely you will get your meal option...just curious to know if others on here choose the last couple of rows of the 764 versus other rows when flying BF and if they noticed any difference in the service levels versus the rows towards the front.
Thanks!

It is true that rows 6 and 7 (and perhaps 5, can't recall) get served from the galley behind the BF cabin. I would not worry about them running out of meal choices - with four entree selections, it's hard to run out of any single selection. FWIW, I like row 6.

I've been in those rows, and I can assure you - the service was absolutely "personalized".
On a flight from Rome to EWR - the the BF Service Coordinator went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed... He really offered amazing service.
I'd fly in those seats again for sure.

I sat in row 7 a few weeks ago. Granted I had a great flight crew, but I very much enjoyed the service that I got. My friend and I both got our first meal choice.

Thanks again!

Reason being, the FA in the aisle is the ISM....should be the very best service! Also they (2 fa's) only have 10 people to take care of, the forward galley and fa's (3) have 25, always wondered about the equity there. But hey as mentioned rows 6 and 7 get great service

Sit There!
You're served by the ISM...it doesn't get any better than that! You can also use the bathroom on the right side of the plane next to 2R...it's reserved for BusinessFirst passengers. The service is also faster in those rows. I can recall many instances where our meal service was completed in rows 6-7, while rows 1-5 were getting ready to be served the cheese/cracker cart.
enjoy.
enjoy.

Thanks everyone for the great advice. Had the BEST service I have had in a premium cabin in the longest time. The ISM on our flight was awesome! He made the flight that much more memorable.

Dont forget to send your compliments to CustomerCare regarding the great crew. Simply note the date and flight number and the ISM should get an "attaboy" in his/her file.

Reminds me of a FA, some years ago, that hugged me extensively after receiving the positive comment card; she said something like "we need these comments so badly!". Needless to say that I received some looks from the cabin...
