beeping from headset jacks?

I've found that this generally works (I have the QC2's). The "beeping" is still there, but usually you can change the volume to a reasonable level and you don't notice the beeping anymore.

I always use the Low attenuation setting on my QC2's with the IFE system.

Shure attenuator

I used to get this all the time using my Etymotic ER4P. Solved the problem by getting the Shure PA235 attenuator. Turn up the volume on the panel and lower it on the attenutor - clear sound and no hissing or beeping.
