"Y" upgrades now automated on co.com for NW elites
For those of us who have had to pay dues in NW country, the old hassle of booking a full Y fare and then playing phone tag with NW and CO agents to get an instant full Y upgrade is over...
Was pricing out a Y ticket, had my NW number in there, and as I went to purchase the flights a page popped up with checkboxes to select whether I'd like to upgrade the Y segments.
(PHX-East Coast Y fares are remarkably cheap by the way).
