Question about switching FF programs
Hello,
I'm DL Gold and well on my way to be Platinum this year, however the more and more flights that I'm looking at it seems CO has better deals flying out of GPT / MOB / PNS for me. It's getting really hard to justify paying more on Delta just because I hold status. What are the chances of CO matching my status because I think my work may pull the plug on spending a a couple of hundred dollars more on Delta.
Anybody have any luck doing this? I don't want to feel like an idiot calling them and asking before i ask you folks.

Plus if you switch and you still fly DL occasionally then you'll loose your standby privileges by dropping below Gold. DL is the only legacy domestic I know of that does this and for that reason I stopped flying DL no matter how much cheaper the fare is.
