Co should code share more extensively with Emirates

If you take a look at the fleet size and expansion plans of Emirates it would make sense for CO to buddy up more closely with EK. There service is great.
I know Emirates seems to have codeshares etc with all the alliances, not quite sure how that worked out.
Anyway they are a great airline from customer service - all cabins.
Dubai is a pretty cool destination and a great gateway to Oz, and far east, would realy expand CO destination offering. In addition - a whole load of great vacation spots ... Maldives !
Just a thought ....

I love Continental...but must say that the Emirates product is the best in the world. I'm all in favor of a more close link up with EK and its subsidiary UL (Sri Lankan Airways). For CO to really take advantage of this relationship, they would probably need to launch service to DXB from EWR or IAH.
