Thinking of joining OnePass - any tips?
I will be flying Continental a bit more from now on and would like to join their frequent flyer OnePass. I have never been a member although I do belong to Delta's FF program. I'm not sure but I think I can use Delta miles on Continental one for one (anyone know for sure?). I've read some threads here and it seems the best offer was a Chase MC where you were given 15000 miles and a gift certificate. I was not mailed this offer so I'm out of that but I would like to know the best way to go to get the maximum miles and offers when first joining OnePass. Any tips?

Looking at your past posts...is seems like your focus is on earning miles through credit card deals. Although OnePass is a great program, I think that the best program offering air travel for credit card spending is through Southwest. $19,200 in spending yields a pretty flexible domestic free ticket, something comparable to the 50,000 mile CO EasyPass reward which requires $50,000 in spending. In terms of accumulating miles, it is almost always best to either use whichever airline is locally dominant unless you are in a major market that has multiple hub airports. (i.e. NYC, WAS, LA, SF, CHI, HOU, etc.)

You can also use CO miles for free tickets on DL, but I don't think you can use them to upgrade on CO.
