xjet.com (no www) seems to be up and running. Click on Affiliates and Partners, click on ExpressJet Corporate at the bottom of the drop-down menu, and a page opens that gives names and a web form to get information.

They must use these planes on commercial routes. I was on one of these planes (EWR-RIC COEX 2362, ship #907) today. The FA said it was a plane they use for charter flights. Looks like it has XM radio available, with a control in the armrest! (It was turned off unfortunately.) Otherwise looked like other ERJ-145's.

Not sure If I read it correctly but it sounds like you haven't seen aircraft with these XM displays? About 20 of the ~40 UAX XJet flights I've been on recently had these XM Radio displays in the armrests and as you mentioned of course all were not activated.

Nope - I've been on dozens of CO RJ flights over the last few years and never seen one before. Could this have been a legacy UA ERJ-145 plane now on a CO route? That would make sense, since I've only been on legacy CO planes.

XJT had their "own" fleet equipped with XM when they tried their own branded flying for a bit.

It would be nice if they activated the XM when available. I dont know what their cost would be, though.

The XM has been deactivated. The controls are still installed in the passenger seats but there's no subscription or anything like that.

Was it really XM, or just a looping recording like UA uses?
