I'm getting married later this year in ICT (Wichita). All CO flights from IAH are on RJs. I'm gonna be having enough family flying up from Houston to fill one of those flights completely. Would I have to inquire with ExpressJet/Chatauqua about chartering one flight to accomodate all the guests, or can this even be done? |

I know ExpressJet charters and has several ERJ 145s for charter.

They must use these planes on commercial routes. I was on one of these planes (EWR-RIC COEX 2362, ship #907) today. The FA said it was a plane they use for charter flights. Looks like it has XM radio available, with a control in the armrest! (It was turned off unfortunately.) Otherwise looked like other ERJ-145's.

Not sure If I read it correctly but it sounds like you haven't seen aircraft with these XM displays? About 20 of the ~40 UAX XJet flights I've been on recently had these XM Radio displays in the armrests and as you mentioned of course all were not activated.

XJT had their "own" fleet equipped with XM when they tried their own branded flying for a bit.
It would be nice if they activated the XM when available. I dont know what their cost would be, though. |

The XM has been deactivated. The controls are still installed in the passenger seats but there's no subscription or anything like that.
