Question about the residency
Hello everybody,
I have a little question about the onepass program: in the elite earning chart on the Continental website it says that ** Residents of Europe/Israel/India receive 200% base miles and Elite Qualification Miles on their transatlantic flight in purchased BusinessFirst fares in J, D, Z or R class of service. Residency is defined by the address on your OnePass account.
I set my residency in US, since I live there, but I have also a residency in Europe: is it possible, every time I do a transatlantic trip, to change the residency on the options to get the 200% base miles bonus and change it back when they have been credited on the account? And, do you know if this rule applies also to the partner airlines?
thanks

Repeat address changes are flagged.
As of January 2007, R-class will be 100% bonus miles (i.e. no bonus), and 200% EQM for European residents.
150% bonus and EQM on partners.

why not just change it once to be europe and then change back at some later point in time or when you redeem? Is there any significance to having a US address on your account?

I would like to follow your advice, but i wonder if changing it like you said would be flagged as a repeated address change or not.
bye
