Mileage Post Question

Hello, I will become CO PLAT by the end of the year based on my upcoming flights. Right now I am about 11K short, but will be flying R/T EWR-CDG on CO this coming December, and will also be flying CDG/MAA on AF R/T this December also.

I should have had this problem but two late year EWR-PEK trips were cancelled. My question is, how long will it take to post the AF flights in my account? Will CO recognize that I travelled early December and still get my PLAT status for 2006? Should I call CO and advise them when I return?

Thanks

There have been numerous reports that AF's computer systems do not accept any frequent flyer numbers besides Flying Blue - I just flew AF CDG-MRS-CDG and can report that while my CO FF# was apparently entered, no miles posted. Be SURE that you keep your boarding passes!! You'll need to send them in to CO and it will take a long time to get the miles credited, so I would indeed call CO to tell them about your AF flight if you need those miles to push you over Plat.

Thanks for the info..I will make sure...

They are a SkyTeam member so I am certain that I will get credit for the miles, but i want to make sure I get the credit in 2006...

Thanks

It does not matter when they are credited; what matters is when you flew. If your flight is in December, even if they are credited in January you still get Plat for 2006 which of course will last until February of 2008
