I just realized I joined the Mileathon and that I was doing pretty good. My questions is I just booked a BF ticket to UK on 1/29 and returning on 2/10, will I get credit for this trip or just the trip out? Also I booked a ticket to Nassau a few weeks ago for the end of Feb will I get credit for this? I am so close to the nest level I would love to make it.
You have 64 Mileathon credits as of Thu., Nov. 30, 2006
You need 11 credits to reach your next Mileathon milestone

According to the T&C of the mileathon promo, no, you will not get the credit.
The itinerary has to be flown during the mileathon period. You will get credit for flights booked before the period and flown during the period though. (at least I did)

As of next Friday I should be at 205 credits. I'm bought and just need to fly my itinerary next week. I sure would like to know that all of those credits are counted. Wish there was a way to confirm. Anytime before Jan 31st would be fine with me, I just don't want to find out on Feb 15th that I was 2 points short of my last goal.

It sure would be nice if shopping miles would post right about now
. Nevermind about updating the mileathon postings

I THINK I'm going to break 150 points and I need to see what's posting to make sure I will. I have a couple of flights in there that I can't tell if they'll post or for how many points. Half the ticket was Y the other half a lower class.
I would hate to miss the next level because I'm missing a few points.
I guess I'll shop for stuff I wouldn't mind returning if I don't need the points.

Mary2e - Are you a Pres Club member? Once you get to the 150 credit mark, you can basically score 25K miles if you join because Pres Club membership gives you an extra 25 credits putting you at the 175 total. Just a thought. I did it just to ensure that I'd hit the 200 mark. I'm probably around 215 or so - feel pretty safe even if a few credits don't post.
I can shop my heart out though

Unless I'm missing something, and please tell me if I am, the $1000 gift card is instead of the miles. I need the miles.

It's an either/or situation. I've got ?s about the card though. Like, does it have an expiration? I think I'm taking the miles regardless. Thought about it though.

I called today and found out the $2000 is for the miles for merchandise program. Has anyone redeemed in this program before? Are the prices decent? What about the stuff they sell?

what do we get for first time R bookings?
i may be crazy, but i do not remember seeing it. i need just a few points to make the next level for mile-a-thon.
i just flew an R class flight, but i do not see R anywhere listed as a "point awarding" class of service.
they have D and Z, and basic coach classes, but i do not see an R level.
is R going to be considered Z since it is now the new super discount FC fare?
has anyone recieved credit for R flights? how do they post? id like to know, so i can assure i am at the level i'd like to be at.
thanks.

There seems to be a new "Mileathon Select" promo on the News & Offers page. Funny thing is that I can only see it when I give my Onepass number and Pin but when I then attempt to register, no dice. I didn't think it was meant for me as I am just finishing up a Mileathon promo but why would I be able to see it only when signed in but then not be able to register. Oh well, hope everyone that wasn't able to register last time gets it this time. Go to the website and then Onepass>Onepass News and Offers> then sign in and look under either Featured or Airline. Good luck.
