Mileathon Question
I did a search but could not find an answer this.
I was fortunate enough to get targeted for Mileathon this time around. Here is the question I have. The "race" is from Oct 1-Jan 31. So, does that mean if I book a ticket today for travel Oct 4-6, that trip does not count? Or, if I book a ticket Oct 1 for travel next March, that trip does not count? Do I have to both book and fly within the Oct 1-Jan 31 time frame?
I have currently have 5 booked trips between those dates already, so I am hoping they count. Otherwise, I wil have to get busy flying some more!

I emailed the exact question to CO yesterday. I'll post their reply when I get it. I've got several trips planned for October and would like to book them now, though I'm willing to wait until 10/1 to "purchase" them if that's what it has to be, but it does seem silly. Everything says the credit will post after the flights are flown, which leads me to believe they're not keeping up with the actual purchase date. We shall see....

I've got a few "full fare" flights over the next few months (booked before the 10/1 start date)

This is great news. I have a few trips planned for this fall that I already purchased tickets for.
Another question.
One of those tickets is a combined discounted Y and discounted BF (z). How many points will I get for that?

One Pass Select Bias?
I didn't get the mileathon promotion invitation but my fiancee did, with the same mailing address. I'm Plat for 2007 already but she's only Gold and unlikely to make Plat next year. I assume they're trying to get her to fly more.
I wonder if you're already registered for OnePass Select they would disqualify you for Mileathon? Too much potential for double dipping on points.
