double miles?

double miles?
Flew IAH to SEA yesterday and the during their OnePass announcement the FA said we'd be earning double miles for the trip, was I hallucinating or do things like that happen>?

I can't see any reason why the FA would announce you would get double miles between IAH and SEA. It's a well established route, not a new one (that might mean double miles). Also, FAs in general have no idea how OnePass works and just read the script they are given. I, too, think you misheard the word "Valuable" as "Double." "Valuable OnePass miles" is a standard part of the script.
