in terms of BF awards you also have to rememeber that its just about the best bang for your buck in the CO system (strictly regarding true BF reward seats- not upgrades).
at 90k miles your getting over 10 hours of BF as compared to the 6-8 hours requiring 100K miles to Europe. the HI rewards may be better, but the service is not quite as nice in either direction.
I scored 3 BF tickts to GIG when they were only 70k. now that was worth it.
if you really feel like flying FC and taking getting the most airtime in FC, fly EWR to IAH, then IAH to GIG (the iah-gig flight has a short stop in GRU with no aircraft change). the iah-gig flight also offers the full BF service and is on the 767-400, which i feel is a little bit better than the 767-200.
