Electronic headsets on flights

I know that noise-cancelling headsets are still premitted on "domestic" flights (CO statement), but haven't seen any statement concerning intern'l flights. Don't think they are a problem, but want to check here first.
Next week flying CLE-EWR-FCO. Can that be a problem with headsets? If iPods are OK, certainly these must be OK also??
Amusing incident - was on the phone with a CO agent regarding the above trip, and seat assignments. I asked him about the headsets - he said "just to be safem why don't you pack them with your checked luggage; that way you will have them when you arrive." Well, I guess Rome is getting noisier
by the day!!

The agent clearly didn't understand the concept. You should be fine with the headset. I've heard of no new restrictions on electronics.
