Most Often Delayed CO Flights....
Well, looks like CO1800 from FLL to EWR is delayed yet again *sigh*...another day another delay for this sorry flight. It's a brutal delay too, which will result in pretty much all connecting pax misconnecting.
I thought we could compile a list of the worst offenders - flights which are not only late more than 70% of the time, but when they're late, they are brutally late. None of this "depart 30 minutes late, arrive 5 minutes late" stuff - I mean flights that habitually leave at least 60 minutes late and arrive more than 60 minutes past their scheduled arrival time and result in significant misconnects.
To get things started, I vote for:
CO 1800 FLL EWR
CO 1112 DCA EWR
An on-time arrival for these two miscreants is cause for celebration.

Both get 0 stars at flightstats.com.
But 1800 has a 48% on-time record, while 1112 has an only 34% on-time record (and a 46% "excessive" delay record). Yikes.

Flights DAL-IAH always seen to be delayed...as DAL is one of the first stations to cancel flights due to weather in IAH

The 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm DCA-EWR flights get my vote. I've never experienced an on-time departure on either of these flights. 1:00 is the latest flight I will reserve if I have to connect in EWR.
For some reason, EWR-DCA mid-afternoon flights seem to be delayed less than DCA-EWR (IME - I haven't looked at the on-time record).

I saw on one of the morning programs this week that one of CO's flight has a 100% Not on time record. Don't remember which one it is.

CO 2825 EWR-BNA
0 stars
On time 28%
Excessive 46%
Cancelled 7%
CO2882 BNA-EWR
0 stars
On time 28%
Excessive 40%
Cancelled 9%
Sadly, these are the 2 flights I take weekly. I think BNA will be in the top 10 of the cities consistently being brutally late.

The stats are published monthly. The most delayed flights are toward the end of the report: http://airconsumer.ost.dot.gov/reports/atcr06.htm

Unless proven wrong, I would bet a paycheck that Hartford (BDL) to Newark MUST be the worst.
I mean cancelled and delayed.
Any takers?

Incidently, I'm freakin' marooned at IAH right now waiting for my flight to PDX with 2:20 delay putting me into PDX at 1:25 am (earliest).

The last time the USA Today column listed the most delayed flights, it was a CO EWR-OMA flight, late 95% of the time. I think that was for June.

The late flight MDW-EWR. Consistently bad. And the afternoon AUS-EWR seems to be pretty bad, but actually is occasionally on time, so it must not be the worst.
In short, the worst one is always the one you're booked on. But that's just because you're there

There once was a flight to Nantucket
It'd always be late if you took it
Passengers got off the plane
and took a boat the rain
Just tell that darn airline to f**k it.
