Question Transfer to Amtrak

I called the OPSC 3 weeks ago and requested that they transfer 25,000 OnePass miles from my account to a newly created Amtrak account. I have been checking periodically and the miles have not posted to my Amtrak account.

I called today and the OPSC agent put me on hold, while she aparently called Amtrak. She came back on the phone and said that Amtrak had no record of the transfer, not even an errored out transaction. She credited my OnePass account the 25k, and resent the transaction.

Has this happened to anyone else? How long has the transfer taken other people in the past?

When I did a transfer like this last year, it took 3 days for 15K to post in my Amtrak account.

My transfer took about four days. The transfer posted on Sunday night/Monday morning. (I think it's a weekly posting to Amtrak, based on what some others have said.)

Thanks for the info. It really annoys me that I had to do this, and the OPSC says that it takes at least 10 business days.

My Amtrak guest rewards points have finally posted. I check last night and there weren't any, and today they are there. Aparently it is a Sunday night batch process.

Hi all - can anybody definately confirm that you can still transfer CO points to Amtrak Guest Rewards? And you have to call OnePass to initiate this transfer?

Thanks

Yes, you can transfer CO miles to AGR in blocks of 5K miles. Transfers seem to occur on the Sunday night/Monday morning following the request. Transfer requests must be made by calling the OnePass Service Center.
