Hey guys, I am new here. I am a one pass silver member currently, but have enough purchased and confirmed tickets this year so that I will be platinum (if only they could give me my miles now
). Just wanted to say hi.

Welcome! Congrats! I won't be long before you are enjoying Plat. If you had high fares, you might ask if they'll bump you up early...doubt it would work but might be worth a try!

If you get the early bump you'll still earn all the bonus points as if you were PLT all along instead of just Silver. That is close to 40K RDMs, I believe based on 50% -> 125% bonus change and flying 50K more miles to get from silver to platinum.
They were willing to bump my wife up a couple of years ago when it was the week of the non-refundable ticket that was going to put her over the top. I doubt that they would do it based on purchasing a bunch of refundable F tix, but you never know.

Welcome to FT!
You'll enjoy the benefits of platinum. If you're going to fly FC all the time, then you won't get to enjoy one of the better benefits--the upgrade. If nothing else, it's nice to know you're platinum!
