Co.com codeshare booking rules?
I tried to find a workable answer using the search tool, but didn't find anything directly on point. Apologies if this has already been answered...
I searched travelocity recently for a flight from BOS>BNA. The best fare that came up was on NW metal with CO codeshares for both flights (connecting in DTW I believe). When searching CO.com, this itinerary was impossible to pull up. After calling reservations, I was told that CO would not ticket an itinerary because all of the flights were codeshares on NW. Is this correct? Can anyone guide me to a resource regarding codeshare rules for CO?
Thanks in advance...

I think that the issue is that co.com won't book it. They should be able to book it for you on the phone. I have been able to get them to book me an itin including DL flights when I've needed to. The CSR mentioned that DL won't do the same for CO, which I found strange, but I let it go since I was getting what I wanted. And mine was a pure DL flight number (DL Shuttle); it was not even a code share.
There has been much made of the fact that the codeshares only intermittently show up at all on co.com at all, but I don't expect to see that change any time soon. As long as CO can force people on to their own metal and not lose customers, I think they don't really care so much about the code shares.

I've had the same problem -- someone just told me it was a glitch and they would report it to the technical people -- but I didn't really buy it. Calling in reservations would give you the flights you wanted, but, of course, not the 100% EQM/segments.
