Thanks to the IAH-E PC

I wish to extend a public thanks to Anita and everyone else in the IAH-E PC for staying open tonight to accommodate those of us who are on 1533 which was supposed to depart at 9:10 PM but has been delayed until 12:00 midnight. It has been great to have a nice place to wait for the flight.

IAH -E -- Great staff and the nicest PClub facility in the system.

I would put DFW in at a very close second.
They once stayed open past midnight as a flt to CLE was delayed for weather (inbound got in late).

Obviously, the staff at CLE is great too.
However, I'm never stuck there late (as it's my home airport).

I don't know if it is standard proceedure but the PC club in SEA does the same when their red-eye to IAH is running late.

I don't think it's standard. Flight 1508 IAH to AUS didn't depart out of IAH-C until 2:15 AM this morning (it should have left at 10:45 PM). I was told last night that the C-South club would not be staying open for them.

It was a bad night to need to go to Austin.

1533 didnt actually take off until 12:45 AM this morning. I don't understand why they delayed us until a Chicago crew flew in to staff the Austin flight rather than try to find a crew somewhere in the Houston area.

Did you tip the bartender? For just $24 a month, you can give one bartender a chance to escape poverty by providing things like education, health care and nutritious food. With a little bit of pocket change and a loving heart, you can change a bartenders life.
