TLV security?

Hoping that a traveller out of TLV can give me an answer on this.

I am upgraded to BF for a flight tomorrow on CO from TLV. I just got the confirmed upgrade and it shows on the printout online.

Will the CO printout showing me in BF suffice to get me into the First/biz security line at TLV? I am not sure what kind of documentation they require.

Do they have a list of all those flying out in First/biz or are they looking for e-ticket type documents showing class of travel?

My wife and I traveled to TLV from EWR on 12/24/04 to 1/7/05 and I don't recall seeing a First/Biz line, but we were given passes to the airline club, which was not Continental. BTW, the airline club at Ben Gurion airport has real food, not cheese and crackers. There were salads, cereal, different juices, fruit, etc. It was a modified Israeli breakfast.

Just ask the first agent you see about the line for "Machlaka Rishona", they may pull you up.

Absolutely. While there is a super high percentage of paid BF passengers, they still have quite a few upgrades and free ticketed passengers that can use the elite line.

And don't forget the free high speed wireless internet at the airport. Can make those long waits very productive.

Continental check in @ Ben Gurion is at area A which is to your far left (west side) of the terminal when you enter it. The BF line is next to the wall on the western side - do not enter where everybody goes but go around it next to the wall. The security people work for the airport, not for the airline so they usually don't know much about priority and tickets. Just show them a print of your ticket or upgrade and that should be enough.
