Been a while...
Its been a while since I've flown Continental (several months) and I just recently changed all my travel plans to go YYC-IAH-SJU multiple times over the next few months instead of YYC-YYZ-SJU on Air Canada.
I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast in cattle class. At least it was heathy instead of the really awful grease patties I remember from AC's days of serving breakfast. I was in coach for YYC-IAH, and got pulled away from my seat in 8F on IAH-SJU to be placed in 2B. That was a really nice surprise.
The nuts are exactly as I remembered, and I know some of you don't like it but I do. Simple green salad with a frighteningly tart dressing... followed by beef (some kind of steak?) with rice or swordfish (don't ask me, I didn't have it nor do I feel like trying it if the chance came up!)... the chocolate sundae was a nice treat.
All in all, good flight with no issues or problems. Really nice to be flying Continental again and not AC. Kudos to CO for great service in both coach and BF. I should be able to earn my Silver/Gold/Platinum pretty quickly these first 4-6 months of 2006.
Cheers
