on time record for flight 89?
Does any one have the on time record for flight 89 to Beijing?

Those numbers above are for CO89 IAH-EWR, not EWR-PEK.
Better place to check is www.flightstats.com
For EWR-PEK:
54 flights checked (don't know what time period):
45 ontime (83%)
6 are 16-30 min. late (11%)
3 are 46+ min late (5%)
Maximum late time is 576 minutes. Which I think is on 11/10. [My cousins were flying back from PEK on 11/11, and were delayed for about 9 hours.]
For flights on specific recent days, you may want to check www.flightaware.com

Thanks for the help. I have to make connection for a domestic flight on Air China. 83% on time record is pretty good.

Yeah, this flight should be pretty reliable compared to other EWR international flights for these reasons:
- The 777 has been on the ground for many hours by noon. It doesn't rely on a particular inbound flight to be on-time for the equipment.
- It leaves EWR early enough that delays are less likely than late-afternoon departures.
- It also has few incoming connections to wait for. It will wait for CO89 IAH-EWR, but that one is also always on-time. That's unlike later flights to HKG and NRT when sometimes they'll wait for connecting customers.
- The 777 has been on the ground for many hours by noon. It doesn't rely on a particular inbound flight to be on-time for the equipment.
