EWR: Security Elite Access Line in Term A?
Saw it mentioned on airliners.net and didn't see anything here... reported that EWR Terminal A now has a EA security line to help with the traffic.
If true, that's great news.
Edited to state Newark Terminal A. Sorry for the confusion.

Probably EWR. That EWR Terminal A has been expanding with DCA, IAD, and now BOS flights.

Do I understand correctly that security can not bar you from entering the elite line for security even if you're non-elite. It's a DHS or FAA regulation that basically says you can't have inequality in the lines. So the private guard that typically checks boarding passes and IDs at the elite line has no authority to direct you to the other line.
Of course if I tried to search for the actual rule I'd never be able to find it.
