Power adapter on 767

Anyone know if a std airline power inverter will work on a 767 (IAH-HNL) flight? I don't currently have seats saved in this area, but would consider changing if it does, or do you have to have a special Em power that's a special plug?

Thanks for the link, but I still don't see it spelled out in black & white.
This is what I have: http://www.cyberpowersystems.com/CPS90UPA.asp
It doesn't mention Empower on the site, Magellans website that someone on that other threat pointed to, has adapters, and from what I can see in the photo the plugs look the same.

I just like seeing things in black & white, esp. with airlines because I know all to well I thought X = this, but it reality it doesn't.

Haven't I answered you on this thread of yours already? Targus and Kensington make them.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...hlight=empower

But your plug looks the same of the Targus Empower converter.

That's why I'm confused. The site does not mention Empower, CO only says Empowr and to go to Igo for adapters. From what I can see in pictures it looks similar. But who's to say the empower adapters are pictured correctly? They could be a generic photo that's used for several products. I know the Cyber Power photo is correct because I have one in hand.

bryanw20 - That IS the Empower plug. Stop worrying about it. Now, just go find yourself a seat that has the power plug receptor.

Kewl! just wish I could select my return flt seats! Guess it's to sold already and they blocked that option, even an agent said she couldn't reserve a seat.

You can still do it during online check-in, and again at the airport.

power converter sold on board

Anyone else have experience with the power converter which CO sells on board in their duty free? I bought it and am able to use it to charge my battery, but it will not work to operate on the PC directly; the PC load seems to overload it.

I just purchased a Dell//Duracell 130W adapter for an Inspiron 6000 because iGo didn't have a tip that would charge the batteries, only to power the laptop. Does this Duracell unit plug fit 767/777 receptacles? Thanks . .

Yes, I see the Empower plug in the photo on dell.com. It's the one that's right next to the non-eraser end of the pencil.
