You were wise to post your inquiry here rather then in the CO forum. some of my pals over there might loose it when they read:

"I would like to know if their is anyway I can upgrade my current economy seat?"

Hi emoboarder414 and welcome to FlyerTalk.

The MilesBuzz forum is for posting information related to the latest frequent flyer program buzz. Your question would be better suited in the Continental Forum, so I'm going to move it there for you now.

Regards,

Welcome aboard emoboarder414. CO is very liberal with upgrades for their important NonePass elites and the newly commissioned CO*. You can obtain a *FREE* upgrade to a nice comfy 17.5 inch wide exit-aisle seat (if available).

Simply telephone your private-n-exclusive elite telephone number and ask the nice friendly lady for your *FREE* comfy 17.5 inch wide exit aisle upgraded seat (if available). The 7+ hours will really fly by fast with such comfy seats and a few top shelf drinks (MEMEMBER: dont order the CO crappy wine after drinking the nice french stuff). And remember the drinks (each) and earphones (you get a matched pair) are now only $5 for (correct change is appreciated) and you get to keep and use the earphones forever (subject to change without notice).

emoboarder414, Misternice appears to be a bit stressed out (and probably needs to change his name if he keeps replying so obnoxiously).

Check out the upgrade rules at Co.com's Onepass area. If you have specific questions there are many serious and HELPFUL people on this board.

Simply check-in online and change your seats. I just got two exit-row seats that were previously blocked (And, no, these seats weren't given up by people who upgraded to F because there's no F on the ERJ plane).
