Comment Cards
Has anyone noticed that the comment cards that they want us to send in to "help improve service" are not pre-paid postage? They actually want us to pay 37 cents per incident to tell them how they can get better. If you REALLY wanted to know wouldn't you make it easier by just putting postage on it, making it sealable so that you can just drop it off at the airport? You wouldn't hand it to the FA if it is a complaint as you know it wouldn't get there and by the time you got to an internet connection you might have cooled off, lost the details or just not give a S*** anymore.

If were so important wouldn't you spend the 37 cents. Or hold on to the card and email it.. I have.

It is an issue of relativity. To whom is it more important, them or us? It is also an issue of perception, isn't it important enough for them to pre-pay the postage since we are helping them out. We are also in the customer service business and we understand that any convenience you can supply will provide you with a better relationship w/your clients.

You can always give the card to your FA or gate agent - we can send them in company mail at no cost. We usually even have envelopes on board if you prefer to seal it up for confidentiality; just ask.
Or email later. Or call the 800 number when you land. Or spring for a stamp - there's a mail drop w/stamp machines; I think it's between C1 and C2 in Newark.
