Problems getting miles
I am not posting to complain, but to advise all to keep BP from flights, to post the miles somewhere. I can't get OP to credit my account for a Virgin codeshare booked on CO in Jan. The MCO-EWR flight posted but the EWR-LHR and the LGW-MCO Virgin flights won't. I emailed, snail mailed the BP, and called, but CO is showing the flights as reward travel, eventhough I paid for them. My wife sent the BP to Delta and they credited her SM account. Any thoughts?

Is this another case of booking class codes not lining up? If CO sold you a ticket in say K class and K ends up translating to a Virgin X class ticket, then CO might look at the record and say "X class is free, no miles for you!" While they are clearly wrong, people have reported similar problems with NW codeshares. I'd suggest calling the OPSC and talking to a human being about this and suggesting that the above might be what is going on.

xyzzy-thanks for the quick response. I called OPSC and was told they couldn't figure it out and would get copies of what I sent to them then they would get back to me in 2-3 days. The classes booked were "T" for the MCO-LHR and "L" for the LGW-MCO. I currently have no status with OP and at this rate, I never will

My Continental codeshare from LHR-LAX on February 16 has not posted yet. Starting to get a little nervous.

Update-as of today after 3 phone calls to OPCS, one-half of the miles posted, with a promise the other half would post tonight. Without going in to the CO bashing, I don't believe I will fly CO much in the future.

It doesn't seem like CO can keep track of their own flights. I purchased full J's that the mileage tracking system is recording as discount coach tickets. You'd think for their most expensive fare on their own metal, this would be one kink they'd work out first. OPSC's response is they're aware of the bug and a fix will occur within the next 3-4 weeks.
