This may be a stupid question....
I wa just reading a thread on another board that talked about status matching. The post mentioned that CO status matched him from another FF scheme.
Can someone point me in the direction of info about this or tell me some info about it. I am AA Plat but am only just making CO silver (maybe not if they problem with my EK miles isnt sorted). Will CO match my AA plat status with them? Or is it only another Skyteam member they will match with?

Keep in mind that the reason airlines status match is to earn your biz away from another airline. The general concensus in most status match threads is that for each airline, a status match is a one-time thing. Their expectation is that with the one-time jump start, you will fly them enough to maintain status the normal way from there on out.
