Fare Code E?
I wanted to check here to make sure I got what I bargained for.
I'm a member of the AS Mileage Plan, recently relocated to Houston. We're flying to Anchorage in May, so I used 90,000 Mileage Plan miles to get my wife and me from IAH to ANC. The segment from IAH to SEA is on CO metal, and the fare class is E.
I've never heard of class E. The SEA-ANC segment is class A, which I believe I recognize as first class award or capacity-controlled fare (I could be wrong).
I've never seen code E. What is class E?

E would be the fare class for First Class at the standard award level.

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure -- that;s what it should have been.
