Question Closets on CO Jets?

A quick answer is needed, since I am flying out at 1740 hours. I am headed to a wedding. I am on a 737-800 and 737-500. Is there closet space on these A/C for my suit in a travel bag?

TIA

If you are in F the 800 has decent closet space. The 500 does NOT have a lot of space as they removed one of the closets.

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't think too many people are going to be wearing heavy jackets anytime this week.

At this point, it's a gamble. Most still have the closet, but it's on the way out.

Yes, but there's still some closet space up there. Odds are the OP will be okay, unless he ends up on a flight with a lot of people in F with coats to be hung.

Where does door 2 on the lav lead to.

Does the second door in the LAV lead into the baggage hold on the ERJs? Every time I've had to drop the kids off, I've seen it but have been to chicken to push the button to open it.

Just wondering if anyone knew... or pushed it and lived to tell about it...

There is no access to the cargo compartment from the lav. on the 145, or 135. Not sure what you mean about the button.

I was denied using the closet on the 737-800 (PHL-IAH). However, on the very empty flight (IAH-SNA), I was able to use the closet on the 737-500. I even found a row in the back of the plane to sleep on.

FYI - 'Twas a Newark based crew.

I think it means that the flight was empty because it was a EWR crew.

LOL - You know this week I actually had an extremely friendly and pleasant EWR based crew. They are a rare breed, but they do exist.

I have never had issue with any EWR-based in-flight crew. Ground staff, however, seems to be an entirely different story.

I had always translated EWR = bad. This EWR flight crew was ^. Sorry about the confusion. I have heard the horror stories at EWR.
