DL Switch to CO
I am currently a Gold Member of DL and after reading several threads here am starting to wonder what will happen to my status/points.
I am considering doing a status match/challenge. Is anyone aware of a program with Continental to do this? Is it likely they will match the points since they are Sky team anyway?

not points, but status.

No match when I asked...
Recently requested a Continental match to my Delta Platinum status but was informed that they do not match other Skyteam partners. It was frustrating because my future travel will take me to Latin American destinations where only CO (and international carriers) have direct routes from my home base (NYC). As a result I'll probably be mixing and matching U.S. and international carriers based on fare instead of sticking with CO. Would rather support a U.S.-based carrier, but oh well.

No status match
I just called CO and they mentioned they do not status match for any of the Sky team airlines.
they do however do a status match for OA (other airlines). So I'm going to submit my silver status from another airline (AA).
If anyone knows any other options for a DL Gold (70k-MQM) I'd appreciate it.
