CO/KL code-share ends on 5.31?
CO's PDF timetable is showing that it's code-share flight on KLM a/c will end on May 31.
Is CO discontinuing its code-share relationship with KLM?

i remember this was a short-term agreement when it was signed. maybe the delta agreement (and delta's air france relationship) will make klm/co (continental) kaput. i'm just guessing.

Hmmm...you would think that with two weeks left, something would have been announced by now!

I think what has happened in the past is that it gets renewed every 6 months.

Maybe KLM's new product that's launched in June in both "business" and coach is so p*sspoor that CO won't stand by it?

If true, then luckily I booked by Venice Flight in August on a NW flight number rather than a KLM Flight number.
But to answer your question, I called yesterday to try to book an awar ticket on KLM using my Onepass miles and they were doing it - so I doubt this is true.

Looks like the termination of the CO/KLM code-share is in effect starting June 1.
The latest KLM PDF timetable is not shwoing the "KL" code on selected CO flights out of Newark.

Just a guess, but if NW gets authority to codeshare on all of KLM's flights, maybe CO isn't permitted to/doesn't care to have its code on 'em also?

If you can buy these as NW does this really make a difference?

I am going to Rome in October and found an NW flight on KLM metal. Will I still be able to get CO miles?

It is my understanding that the codeshare was likely discontinued due to KLM's service modifications on intra-European flights.

So, if the CO/KL alliance ends, then perhaps NW-coded flights on KL metal after 5-31 won't earn CO miles.
Just my 2 cents. Your mileage may vary.

Yes - but shouldn't this be announced, somewhere, somehow?
In any case, this codesharing/mileage accrual business really stinks.
If you book a flight on Airline X's site, but it's Airline Y metal, and Airline X and Z have a deep relationship the way that NW and CO have, you should be able to get the darn miles into your Airline Z account.
Same thing annoys me about the CO and Virgin partnership - WP members can't get credit for that.

Still seeing AMS-MUC for instance at the end of June. . . .I guess some codeshares may have disappeared, but some others remain. . . .
I fully expect to get my miles for my NW code/KLM operated flight to VIE later this month. . . . .
