I am not a Continental employee. While I do work in the airline industry, I chose this forum (CO) because of some recent posts I read here. I am also targeting the WorldPerks forum.

I did not suggest that you were a CO employee, but that you were hired by CO as a consultant. If not the case, then you must work for Boeing. You have to have some credentials, otherwise your posts will be viewed as someone off the wall and then less credible than the general posters.

I have a question:
 
I've heard that the ERJs don't quite live up to what was promised (e.g. IIRC the ERJ 145XR was designed to fly ~1,600 miles but in reality only goes ~1,400). Is this true - and if so - what has been the reaction from Embrear (sp?) and CO?

I have never heard that. I know that there were some weight issues w/ ER aircraft, but that is all.

But would you really want to be on an ERJ for that additional 200 miles? :cool:
