Onepass miles upgrades
I just booked a flight (b&k fares) and used miles to upgrade since I'm not elite yet, but this flight would put me in silver...is it true that I won't earn any miles towards elite now on this flight since I used OP miles to upgrade?

Since you're on a revenue ticket, your flight miles will count toward elite status. So you're looking good.....

This is what it says on the bottom of my ticket (I just booked it online and called for the upgrade, so maybe that's why?)
Additional Trip Information:
Your OnePass account balance will not change until time of ticketing.
Mileage purchase is non-refundable.
Flight miles and segments will NOT be earned for reward travel.
If your travel plans change, call 1-800-344-1411; outside the U.S., call your local Continental office.
Airlines require government issued photo identification upon check-in, such as a driver's license or passport.
-That scares me...I guess I should call and ask, since I did pay for coach seats!
Anyone here earned miles for flights they upgraded?

this is not reward travel. If you use miles to upgrade you will earn mileage based on class of service paid. If you had purchased a FC ticket you earn a 50% class of service bonus which counts towards elite status. You will not earn these additional miles. No need to call and freak out. You will earn your regular base mileage as always that counts towards elite status.
