Continental Select offer

Several months ago I signed up for the challenge of taking 7 trips between 4/1 & 9/30(certain fare schedules) and if successful I would receive 28,000 miles. I will be one trip short . . . does EWR-ABE qualify as a flight even though it is a bus?
Schedule lists a Y fare and flight number. Has anyone used this RT as flight/segment credit?

You'll find a flight to BOS from EWR will be cheaper than the ABE bus ..just punch in some dates ZFV-BOS. (Same is true to FLL, where FLL is about $100 less than the ABE bus.) So if you're looking for a flight just to get the Continental Select credit, you might as well go some place a little more affordable and a little more fun than ABE.

I found a (ZFV)EWR-BOS flight that qualified for the Continental Select offer for $143 r/t. And with the current Amtrak offers, it added 1k bonus miles. And the itinerary left in the morning and returned in the evening, making it an enjoyable Saturday trip.

The Amtrak bonus is automatic; there's no need to register.

The Continental Select offer is targeted/automatic --you're automatically enrolled if you're targeted.
