Recrediting miles to CO instead of NW?
I'm a temporary silver elite on CO (through 9/15), but credited 11,000 miles in F/Y intl travel in May on NW/KL to NW where I have no status. I have two flights booked on CO next week (7000 miles), and more coming up. Is there anyway to have NW deduct the May miles and credit them to my CO account, or just fax proof of miles flown on CO/NW/KL earlier in the year to CO and have them deduct that amount from my elite qualification levels? I'd like to have status on CO instead of NW, as I prefer CO to NW, would like to use VS UC awards, and have a large number of MR points. The 50% mileage bonus and upgrades while I have temporary elite on CO and nothing on NW make mileage accrual on CO more appealing, but the 14,000 miles I've credited to NW this year will likely make the difference between silver and gold. Any advice?
Thanks,
Merrick

I had a similar problem although it was the opposite. I wanted miles posted to CO to go to NW. My reason was different since I was trying to get the NW FFF3 qualification flight. However I did get the miles removed from CO and posted to NW.

My only word of warning is that I had all my boarding passes as back-up. If you don't have all of the ticket receipts and BP for the related flights, it might cause problems. Basically you have to have the credit removed from the account where you don't want the miles and then have it applied to the one where you do want the miles. I was able to fax NW but I had to write CO vi snail mail. E-mail me if you have additional questions.
