EAU (or whatever it's called) to BusinessFirst (BF)??
i have a flight in a few days to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU). i logged onto CO.O.L today and was happy to see that i was upgraded, although i was also fine with my comfy exit row chair.
but, in the cabin description, CO.O.L said "BusinessFirst" (fare class Z). i didn't think Continental called the premium cabin on Caribbean flights "BusinessFirst." i thought it was just dubbed domestic first class. and, i didn't think there was EAU for BusinessFirst.

Business First is used on international flights, which CO designates SJU. AA does the same. TWA, however, considered SJU domestic destination with a First Class designation.

How was I supposed to know what this thread was about from the title?
Anyway, San Juan ain't an "official" Biz-F destination. You sure you didn't book to SJO (San Jose) instead of SJU (San Juan)???
Easy to confuse all those "San" places, ain't it?

SJU service is NOT BusinessFirst (J). The premium cabin is Business Class (C).

You're right. CO offers "Business Class" to SJU from EWR, not BusinessFirst. Just checked my upgrade notice. Why don't we just go back to first class and steerage for two-cabin aircraft?
