co.com strangeness...
I've been looking at fares on co.com over the past few days, and have always come up with errors on NW codeshare flights (i.e. can't book the ticket).
When calling in, the answer i'm given is that the cost of the ticket is much higher because the fare quoted online isn't available from NW, and they then try to push me into a higher fare (sounds like bait and switch, but what do I know).
NOW I go to both CO.com and NWA.com and find it impossible to locate codeshare flights for my destinations (I can find these codeshares on travelocity, etc).
Just an interesting development.

I was trying to come up with combinations for mileage/segment runs out of EFD but the .com thing kept making me make a round trip from EFD to where ever back to EFD and it would not let me change from where ever to my ending destination. Go figure.

Yeah, something's up with that...ah, for the days of easySABRE, when you could pull valid connecting cities and piece together everything manually.
Also dunno why nwa.com doesn't award OnePass-mile booking bonuses when booking on their site and crediting to OnePass (or vice versa). Without a carrot of some kind there, you're just as well off booking through a third-party site if you can find one that doesn't charge a booking fee. And even if you can't, it might be worth the extra $5 or $10 if Travelocity or Expedia can book something that the airlines' own sites can't or won't.
