Funny this is, he'll probably end up being more successful than most who post here. At least he can laugh at himself.

God spare us from self-important FTrs, airborne drunks, and self-taught legal experts.

Kudos to the captain and the FA involved.

Next case.

Ok, everyone has had their laugh. I have recieved a few emails to close this thread. I'm not going to do that, but I do ask that we leave the milanos out of it http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif. Also, let's please stop with the personal attacks.

Ryan,

I don't know what the drinking age is in Brazil or Mexico. It might be advisable for you to be sure before you trek down to Tijuana. Eat a fish taco for me! Regardless, keep in mind for the next few months that the two parts of the United States where the drinking age is still 18 years are Puerto Rico and Guam.

Add me to those curious if you got an e-mail address or phone number for the EWR President's Club patron who helped start this thread. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Drinking age in Mexico is 18 but it's not enforced.

OF COURSE!!! In fact When I Get home in the next couple days we are getting together in DC. Any good fares.. Well off to HNL. I will finish off a drink here in Narita cause If I drink in HNL I will not be able to afford a cab back to the airport! BTW folks I am not a drinker or a drunk (no I am not in denial either) I was socially drinking with a hot girl. In fact I will not get into details but she did offer to take me to LON. (why did I not go? now I am stuck buying a ticket to DC!!!) Thanks moderators for not shutting down this thread, I take no offense to comments. If people have to be that way so be it thats life. There are jerks and dumbasses, I will take being the dumbass any day. Its more fun, and people like me +)

ALOHA!!!

PS Whats up with SQ lounge getting rid of B&J:s and The SATS (rainforest lounge)Charging for icecream????

And I told her that her attitude was rude and uncalled for. (I am a friendly drunk, so nothing else was said) Well I sit down and the GA asks me to get off the plane because the captain doesn't want me flying So I get off and approach the cockpit, and ask for his name, he laughs at me and says get off my plane or we will call security. Anyway I was stuck over night in EWR never got an FC seat or nothing. What is up and is there anything I can do? This captain never even saw or smelled me yet he kicked me off his plane. I was not S Faced where I remember nothing, I remember everything how it went, an dI did not act out of line.

Well, I'm a flight attendant and I work for Cal. Here's my take on it. Yes there are some poeple in every walk of life that have power trips and use thier position wrongly. Whether or not this was the case, I don't know. The best post in the whole thread was by the pilot.

Yes, we are strictly prohibited from boarding anyone that "appears to be intoxicated". Granted, this is subject to interpretation, but we are strictly bound by it. For someone who doesn't drink, it may be the presence of alcohol on the breath. I do drink, and as long as someone is behaving themselves, I don't care if they have been drinking. We've all heard too many horror stories of someone that went rapidly downhill after getting airborn. Any captain worth his salt will implicitly back his cabin crew, as we are his eyes and ears.

If I drink when I am flying (as a passenger of course), it's "yes maam, no maam, please, thank you", period.

I'm surprised at all the serious responses to such an obviously phony story. Nice troll, ryan754!
