PC pass at AMS?

I used a pass once to gain access at the KL club in AMS, but they advised me that the pass was really not valid in their clubs. Still, they tood it from me! On a subsequent trip, presenting a pass, I was denied access. I guess it's a toss-up, and depends on the agent who is staffing the desk.
