Upgrade question

Hi there,

SCENARIO: I'm Silver and flying SFO-IAH-FLL leaving on Feb 13. Upgraded from SFO-IAH only. Inventory for F IAH-FLL is 0. However, A and D show 4, which is a good sign.

QUEST: Very likely I will need to wait for upgrd at airport. Based on your experience, should I expect my upgrd IAH-FLL to be processed when upon checkin in SFO? OR would I be told to ask in IAH? Thanks.

From my experience, I would say that they would confirm your silver upgrade at the gate in IAH. You'll just have to wait and see.

Isn't this one of the situations where EUA has trouble? If you clear at the 4 hour window, you're ok, but you may have to request to be put on the waitlist. Unfortunately, you will be on the plane before the waitlist opens.

Make sure to check with the PC agents or the gate agent when you get to IAH to make sure you are on the list.

EUA will run again on the 12th. IF they have opened any seats you will be in line for one. I think it is likely that you will get it either at Check in or at IAH.
