757 - BF seats ?

I am booked on flt 1800 from FLL-EWR next week in First. The seat map shows 4 rows in FC (16 seats total). Is this a BF equipped plane ? I thought the 757's either had 3 rows or 6 rows.

1800 is a BF flight with a decent dinner service - but a hard upgrade to snare depending on your day of travel...it is also habitually late into EWR, so plan your connections accordingly. 301 is the southbound version of 1800, so if the weather in FLL or EWR looks dicey, start tracking 301 to make sure it arrives FLL ontime....sometimes 1800 will get a 2-3 hour delay, but leave almost ontime at the last minute if CO ops is able to get approval for the deep overwater route that bypasses WAS center.

This flight is also periodically upgraded to a 767 or 764 depending on loads.

Thanks bocastephen.

Nice to know. I am already in first so no upgrade required. This will be a nice ending to my long 4th weekend.

if you're flying 1800 on the 4th, check the Y seatmap a couple days before departure...if the map looks full, check it again around 2pm on the 4th and you might be surprised with a AC swap to a 767...especially if it was swapped on July 1. They also run the full inflight movie system on the 767 so you can use the personal screens and have extra choices. The 757 inflight entertainment is run from the ceiling screens, even in BF - the FAs never activate the seatside system even though the AC continues to the UK from EWR.

Thanks for all the help. I am also on flt 1801 ewr-fll which I see is also a BF equipped plane. I am looking forward to a nice round trip flight on CO.

In looking at the schedule there seems to be at least 2 flights a day from EWR-FLL-EWR using BF 757's. Is this normal ?

Yes, they are frequently scheduled on this route. It might change as they start all the Euro routes, though. They still might use the a/c after arrival in EWR to do a "quick" run down to FLL and back before heading transatlantic again. But I'm not a flight operations expert...
