Best Seats in Upper Class
I will be CO codeshare on VS metal Upper class next month IAD-LHR.
Looks like CO tickets have a small piece of the 747, and an even smaller piece of the340.
ACHK 789 in the 747, and ACDGHK 234 on the 340, more or less, a total of 10 seats on each.
Are any of these seats to be avoided? Are any preferred?

I would be interested to view a seat map of the A346, if someone knows where one is available.

I can only speak for the 747. CO's seats aren't at all bad, but if there is any way day of flight to switch to the FRONT downstairs row (which I think is row 6), I would go for that. It is the most private and by far the best seats - I've flown about 20 UC segments and I swear by these ones.

I would agree with thesilb. I think that the seats in the cone are probably the best for quiet and privacy because there is very little foot traffic in that area of the aircraft.
Even though CO says the record of your itinerary is not sent over until 24 hours before the flight, it has been my experience that VS has had my flight information two or three days out - at that point you can ask to change your seat assignment if there is availability.
