EWR to ABE run question

In EWR to ABE, ABE to EWR, do you have enough time to catch the next available flight? (IE 11:40am to 1:10pm, 1:30pm to 3:00pm) Is it recommended?

Thanks

EWR-ABE, heh. As far as catching the next "flight," I would say that you won't have a problem. I believe that it's a bus that goes back and forth.

Oh man, is this bearable and worth it? I may need it for the R/Ts.

Yes. Its the same bus tht goes back and forth. The qustion is 'what is the meaning of the word "bus'"? My wife did this run and the 'bus' was more like one of those airport to rental car large vans. Very drafty and uncomfortable. That was 2 years ago and things might have changed a bit. Perhaps others can comment.

While I have not recently taken it either, you should be okay, I think! What day of the week is your trip?

Keep in mind you'll have to clear security in EWR. Last time I rode the bus it dropped me at the curb by the check-in counters. You catch the return airside at the express gates. At least thats how it used to be.

Friday can be quite busy, as you probably know, sadly allowing less time for error!

Living in the Lehigh Valley area, and driving to EWR on occasion (as well as working (when not traveling) halfway between ABE and EWR, I can tell you that, depending on the time of day, and how fast you (or the bus/plane driver) drive it can take from 1:00 to 1:45 to get to Newark Airport. For what it's worth, when traveling on CO, I either connect thru CLE out of ABE, or just drive to EWR to start my itinerary. I just can't see getting in a "bus" for 500 miles - and I would think that it is a very expensive bus ride? Happy travels.
