This has been touched on before, but never directly addressed as far as I can tell.

Just returned from BKK on a NW ticket...outbound flights already posted. A flight I have on Thursday will push me up to Gold after accounting for the unposted NW miles. When I first qualified for Silver, some miles had not "posted" to my account online, but my new status was reflected in the computers (for upgrade purposes).

Will the same thing occur this time around? That is, will I have Gold in the computers or will it have to wait until the NW flights post to my online account (next Tues. from what I can tell)? Thanks in advance.


(On a side note, I was actually pretty impressed with NW's trans-Pac service. The IFE and the quality of the food were inferior to CO, but the comfort of the seat and the ease with which I procured a bulkhead more than made up for it.)
