Alternative to Prestige Pack(Maybe)

I just got an offer from Chase that seems better than prestige pack:
1) 10,000 One Pass Miles
2) $99 Companion cert (after 6 months!!)
3) 2 travel Discount Certs per year(after a year)
4) 2 PC passes per year( I cant figure out when you get these
5) Double miles on selected vendors, otherwise 1 Mile per dollar spent
6) 0% APR until November, 11.49% after
The yearly fee is $65 or $85
www.applycontinentalcard.com

As always, be extremely careful, as there is alot of small print and double talk in this offer, and equally as much double talk when you call them. These cards banks could not be any sleazier.

The PC passes are after a year as well. Basically, you get the miles for the first year's annual fee, then the recurring perks to stay with them.

This sounds good. I have the old Continental Chase Visa, and this offer is a good reason for me to make the switch. (I would appreciate anyone's thoughts or comments on switching).

Does anyone have an "invitation code" for this offer?

Thanks,

I think you can follow the "If you have misplaced your Invitation Code/Reservation Number and still wish to apply click here" link. Then select World Mastercard card. That looks like the same offer.

Sorry, I got so disgusted with the fine print, then on the website, and then on the phone with Chase, that I pitched all of it. Just be careful, you think you are signing up for the WorldCard, but you are really signing up for the Platinum card, with squat for benefits

The Chase MC is about $95 a year and the prestige pack is about $119 (scheduled to increase). If you read the fine print on the coupons offered by the Chase MC you will find:

1. The President's Club pass is only good for one person wheras the one offered by Prestige Pack is good for up to two people.

2. The $ off coupon offers a maximum discount of like $20 for travel originating or ending in EWR, CLE, Houston. The one offered by the Prestige Pack doesn't have this restriction.

3. The $99 companion cert offered by MC can only be used in conjuction with fare that has to be atleast $XXX (forget the exact amount). The Prestige Pack cert doesn't have this restriction.

4. The Prestige Pack gives 7500 miles EVERY year on renewal - The Chase MC does not.

5. Applying for the Chase MC affects your Credit Score (good or bad), The Prestige Pack does not.

Chase MC also has its own benefits (especially if you travel) but if you are just looking at the bonus miles and coupons, I think The Prestige Pack is a great deal.
